July 6, 2008 / BCGB (Barton Creek Greenbelt) Austin, TX
Headed out to Barton Creek Greenbelt.
Very fun trail with a lot of wet SLIPPERY sharp rocks, rocky steep inclines and hills that is really hard to climb. The rocks can easy cut a sidewall of the tires.
Today’s ride was a blast, till it came to the end of the trail as I can down a steep “Z” type trail and flipped over the bar and getting a bad cut to my left knee. Still had to ride back to our vehicles and had to ride about 8 miles away. Bleeding and all, it took about two-hours to get back. Had to go to my local emergency room and get some stitches on my knee.
=)
